Hibiscus damage, the most important of which is to increase the amount of urine

Hibiscus
Hibiscus is a type of sabdariffa plant and has long been used in African folk medicine to treat many diseases, and studies are underway to better understand the potential of this herb. So far, researchers have discovered that hibiscus is rich in antioxidants, malic acid, anthocyanins, ascorbic acid, and minerals. It is also rich in phenolic compounds known for their ability to remove carcinogenic free radicals.

According to the American medical site "HealthLine", hibiscus works to reduce high blood pressure, and in recent years, researchers have found more and more evidence supporting the ability of hibiscus to treat blood pressure problems.

Uncontrolled hypertension can lead to many serious complications such as heart attack, stroke, angina, kidney disease, blindness, and peripheral arterial disease.

In 2017, the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association made changes to their blood pressure guidelines because normal blood pressure is less than 120/80 mm Hg; high: systolic (higher number) 120-129 and diastolic (lower number) less than 80. High blood pressure causes a crisis: systolic more than 180 and/or diastolic more than 120.

At the end of the study period, hibiscus tea reduced systolic blood pressure compared to placebo, and diastolic blood pressure was also lower, although it was no different from placebo.

These results suggest that daily consumption of hibiscus tea may be an effective nutritional change recommended for people with high blood pressure.

Hibiscus damage
With moderate short-term use, hibiscus appears to be good, but in a study of humans using the herb for 15 days, the researchers found that higher doses caused poisoning.

It also causes many side effects, including a significant increase in the amount of urine produced and a decrease in the pH of the urine and concentrations of many chemicals that need to be balanced to help regulate important bodily functions.
